Liliom
"Liliom", published in 1909, is one of the most important plays of the 20th century. Staged by Sandy Lopičić.
He is Carousel Crier, a womanizer and Hallodri: Liliom turns the head and the gentlemen who are cheeky, the arm in the heated environment in the Prater young women. When he falls in love with the maid Julie and is therefore released from his jealous boss, he falls into a hole: Faced with the emptiness of his existence, with no prospect of a financial improvement in life circumstances, Liliom sinks into gambling addiction and aggression.
The only way out seems to be a robbery proposed by his dodgy friend Ficsur. This should bring fast money for him and his little family. Despite a bad conscience, Liliom decides to become part of the crime - but the plan goes wrong ...

"Liliom" is produced as an international co-production of the Landestheater Niederösterreich and the Vereinigte Bühnen Bolzano. Director Sandy Lopičić stages "The World Is Great and Rescue Lurks Everywhere" as well as "The Auditor" for the third time at the Landestheater Niederösterreich in the season 2018/19 and will play Franz Molnár with an international ensemble of actors and the well-known music duo "Die Strottern "and the hurdy-gurdy Matthias Loibner bring to the stage.
