With a victory pose, Bryan Adams announces the next chapter in his career: So Happy It Hurts will be the name of the Canadian's new album, which will be released in March 2022. With the title track, the musician, celebrated for his feel-good rock sound, is already presenting a first foretaste of his 15th studio album.
Adams' 15th studio album features 12 brand new songs, all co-written by the Grammy winner.
“The pandemic and lockdown experience has really shown me how to take away all spontaneity. From one day to the next there were no more tours, nobody could just jump in the car and drive off,” comments Adams.
"The title song 'So Happy It Hurts' is about that: It's about freedom, about independence, about spontaneity and about that rush of happiness that you get when the open road is ahead of you. The album of the same name deals with a number of fleeting things in life, but in which, strictly speaking, the recipe for happiness lies dormant - with human connections playing the most important role!
