The Finnish-Cuban pianist Anton Mejias, born in 2001, is one of the young, up-and-coming keyboard artists and has already made a name for himself on the international concert stage thanks to his outstanding skills. He is currently studying at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, one of the world's largest musical talent factories. With the second part of Bach's famous "Well-Tempered Clavier", Mejia's music features the composer with whom he has been particularly fascinated since his childhood. The pianist and educator Gary Graffman praises how this is reflected in his interpretation: "Something in his Bach is absolutely unique [...], and I think he could be remembered as one of the great Bach players of our time." If the musician Combining works by the Baroque master with a premiere of preludes by the American Philip Lasser, new exciting sound horizons emerge.
