The night of the young stars - Schedule, Program & Tickets

Exciting young musicians from classical and jazz, who were selected by renowned artist sponsors, conquer the stage of the Kulturpalast in the “Night of the Young Stars”. The sisters Kristine and Margarita Balanas, who come from Latvia, are in great demand as soloists and as a duo. The percussionist Aaron Grünwald, a student of Martin Grubinger at the Salzburg Mozarteum, also impresses with his performances. Also performing is the pianist Maxim Lando, who first attracted international attention in 2017 when, among other things, he performed with Lang Lang at Carnegie Hall's Opening Night Gala. With the Catalan trumpeter and singer Andrea Motis and the Berlin trumpeter Bill Petry, whose talent was discovered by Till Brönner, two hip jazz musicians of the younger generation are presenting themselves. The group is completed by the Cuban Ernesto Herrera Del Río, who recently became principal horn of the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra, and the American composer Hannah Ishizaki, who was already a scholarship holder of the Art and Music Foundation for Dresden in 2022 and will write a piece for all the young stars taking part . A night of musical discovery is guaranteed!
