“Vivaldi - The Fifth Season” is a new form of BaRock opera created for the Volksoper and creates a symbiosis of old and new, of traditional and modern. With his combination of baroque elements with the clear power of rock music, Christian Kolonovits proves how close these two styles are to each other. “Vivaldi - The Fifth Season” tells of the exciting, scandalous and dramatic life of a superstar: the violin virtuoso, composer and “red priest” Antonio Vivaldi.
