When the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, founded in 1985, ignites its musical and cabaret fireworks, there is no stopping the audience. For four decades, the ladies and gentlemen have been traveling around the world with their ukuleles with outstanding success and have long since become an institution! What the seven ladies and gentlemen get out of the small string instruments (originally from Hawaii) is a great show, seasoned with the finest British humor. After the Ukes have rocked the Semperoper at the Dresden Music Festival in the past, they are now guests in the concert hall of the Kulturpalast with their surprising arrangements and their legendary joy of playing and entertaining.
