Bus trip Vienna - Salzburg

Relax on a city trip to Salzburg in our modern, comfortable bus. During the journey you will get a first impression of the beauty of the Salzkammergut with its clear lakes and majestic mountains.

Sound of Music fans will recognize the landscape from the film's opening scenes.

Guided tour of Salzburg

During a walk through the old town of Salzburg, we will show you the most important sights of this historic city. The Mirabell Gardens, the location of one of the most popular scenes from “The Sound of Music”, are located near Mirabell Palace. Here Maria sang with the children "Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So" by the fountain and the stairs. You will also see the horse pond and the Felsenreitschule, where Baron Trapp sang the “Edelweißlied” as a farewell.

The absolute highlight of the city trip to Salzburg is the Getreidegasse, where Mozart's birthplace is located. The narrow alley still looks like it did in the 18th century. Other sights: University Church, Archbishopric of St. Peter, Salzburg Cathedral and the Festival Hall.

Use the time until our return trip at 4:00 p.m. to explore the city, have lunch or shop.

Expected arrival in Vienna is around 8:00 p.m.
