Serenade at the end of winter - Schedule, Program & Tickets

Serenade at the end of winter

While winter is slowly being driven out of the cold castle walls by the first tentative rays of sunshine, the Berlin Chamber Music Ensemble, conducted by Alexandra Rossmann, cordially invites you to a concert that explores the closeness to nature and thus also the longing for spring in Baroque music resounds in a lively way.

Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" is one of the most beautiful works of baroque settings of nature. Played with virtuosity in the Great Orangery of Charlottenburg Palace, it unfolds the magic of nature in an almost picturesque way - let yourself be seduced by the playing of the violins, which bring to life impressions of nature such as freezing frost, but also the awakening of spring springs in the baroque atmosphere of the concert hall leaves.

Also GF Handel was adept at staging natural phenomena in his works in a musically effective way - the "Water Music" shows this impressively.

Enjoy a concert that presents itself as lively and powerful as the awakening nature in the palace park.
