Schubert Festival Wien: Die Zauberharfe - Schedule, Program & Tickets

Schubert Festival Wien: Die Zauberharfe

"Through the sounds of spell power," this "whimsical music" always carries us away into spheres of which we had no other suspicions. And the inexhaustible and unfinished Schubert in general! The wonderful music of the "Magic Harp" (D644) from 1820 can be heard for the first time as an orchestral suite, so to speak a "Best of all" from the unfinished opera. And another star of the Vienna State Opera will perform with Clemens Unterreiner in the cycle of the Junge Philharmonie in the MuTh.

The Schubert Festival Vienna takes place every year in the month of May and is organized by the Schubert-Gesellschaft Wien-Lichtental. It provides a good insight into the diverse musical work of the Viennese composer. In the MuTh above all Schubert's works with orchestra are performed.
