Best of Mozart Fortress Concerts - Advent Concert - Schedule, Program & Tickets

The atmospheric Advent and Christmas concerts at Hohensalzburg Fortress are unique in their kind. Even the way to the concert via the Christmassy illuminated Salzburg Christkindlmarkt puts you in the right mood for this special concert evening. The special ambience on the world-famous fortress with a view of the city and countryside in connection with the artistic quality of the performing ensemble ensure an unforgettable concert experience. As part of the Advent concerts, musical treasures by W. A. Mozart and his contemporaries as well as traditional Advent music from the Salzburg region are performed.

The Salzburg Advent Ensemble, which plays in the composition of strings and string music, spoils you with musical treasures during the Advent season. Popular classical works as well as traditional Advent music from the Salzburg region are performed.
The unique, atmospheric Advent concerts take place in the historic ambience of the Christmassy decorated Coat of Arms Hall or Castle Hall in Hohensalzburg Fortress.
