Even the way to the concert via the Christkindlmarkt, which is illuminated for Christmas, will get you in the mood for this special concert evening. The special ambience on the world-famous fortress with a view of the city and the countryside in connection with the artistic quality of the ensembles performing ensure an unforgettable concert experience. As part of the Advent concerts, musical treasures by W. A. Mozart and his contemporaries as well as traditional Advent music from the Salzburg region will be performed.
The Salzburg Advent Ensemble, which plays in the composition of strings and string music, will spoil you with musical delicacies during Advent. Popular works of classical music as well as traditional Advent music from the Salzburg region are performed.
The unique, atmospheric Advent concerts take place in the historical ambience of the coat of arms or castle hall decorated for Christmas at the Hohensalzburg Fortress.
