After his death, he was laid out in the cathedral to say goodbye before being transferred to the St. Marx Cemetery in Vienna. Mozart's name can be found both in the death record and in the cathedral's so-called Bahrleihbuch (death fee book), and his wedding to Constanze Weber (Nannerl) is also noted.
