Musical world hit “ELISABETH” again in 2024 and for the very last time in front of Schönbrunn Palace
The VBW successful production ELISABETH is extremely popular and will take place next year 2024 for the fourth and unfortunately for the last time as a major concert highlight in the main courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace. From June 27th to 29th, 2024, the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, in collaboration with Semmel Concerts Entertainment GmbH and Show Factory Entertainment GmbH, will immerse the audience in the touching story about the life, work and suffering of the Austrian Empress at the original location.
On June 29, 2019, ELISABETH, the VBW musical world hit written by the successful duo Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay, celebrated its premiere as a major, first-class concert experience in the main courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace. On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the death of Empress "Sissi", the successful musical was shown on three dates this year at the original location, where the Empress herself once spent a lot of time.
Due to the huge audience success and a total of over 30,000 tickets sold, the most successful German-language musical of all time will be performed one last time next year on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, Friday, June 28th, 2024 and Saturday, June 29th, 2024 concert version can be seen in front of the famous historical backdrop.
The dramatic and touching story about the life, work and suffering of Empress Elisabeth will also be brought to the stage next summer with a top-class ensemble and the Vienna Theater Orchestra in a large cast.
