Welcome the New Year with a special experience – with a combination of gala dinner and concert at the Royal Start to the Year at Charlottenburg Palace.
The Berlin Residence Orchestra will welcome the New Year together with its audience with a colourful bouquet of musical treasures and take you on a journey of sounds from the baroque to the Viennese classics and up to the masterpieces of the waltz king, Johann Strauss.

For a festive welcome to the New Year, the five-star Marriott Hotel Berlin has designed a very special menu that will allow you to start your year with culinary royalty. Three exquisite courses will flatter your palate while the master of ceremonies invites you to listen to a musical greeting from one of our orchestral soloists.

The Orchestra
The ensemble consists of well-known musicians, who interpret baroque and classical opera with a keen sense of the compositions from that era. In April 2016 the orchestra under the direction of Bruno Schmidt celebrated its tenth anniversary!
