Sir András Schiff is finally back in the Vienna Konzerthaus! After the cycle with Beethoven sonatas in 2014 and a portrait last season, the exceptional pianist once again organizes a solo recital, proving his wonderful ingenuity in designing concert programs. The focus of the evening are works by Brahms, framed by such models as Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Beethoven and Bach. The creative freedom of the composer, sometimes virtuoso, sometimes lyrical, underlies the works of this evening, including two with the title "Fantasy" as a motto.
