Jean-Marc Luisada - Masterpieces as film music

Jean-Marc Luisada plays famous masterpieces that have been used as film music, either in the original piano version or in the case of orchestral works in a piano arrangement, in the wonderful Brahms Hall of the Wiener Musikverein.
The performance is accompanied by video projections and explanations by the artist. Next to the Golden Hall, the Brahms Hall is the most famous hall of the Wiener Musikverein.

When the Theo and Petra LIEVEN International Piano Foundation was founded in 1993, the goal was to contribute to passing on the art of playing the piano from generation to generation.
Today the foundation is located in the center of Vienna. Led by its artistic director Alon Goldstein, the foundation invites eight high-calibre young pianists each summer to spend eight weeks in the city of Vienna for free tuition as well as performance opportunities across the city.
Alumni include well-known pianists such as Piotr Anderszewski (scholarship holder 1994), Yulianna Avdeeva (2008-2012, 1st prize Chopin Competition 2010), Ingrid Fliter (2000-2001), Kiril Gerstein (2002-2004), Stanislaw Ioudenitch (1995 -1996, 1st prize Van Cliburn Competition 2001), Alexei Volodin (2001-2003, 1st prize Géza Anda Competition 2003).
Current teachers include Ferenc Rados, Eliso Virsaladze, Andreas Staier, Tatiana Zelikman, Alfred Brendel and Arie Vardi, among others, and alumni such as Alexei Volodin, Ingrid Fliter, Davide Cabassi and Alon Goldstein. The foundation is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
