Anniversary Gala
On March 15, 2019, a three-decade baritone career was crowned by the Kossuth Prize, which Mihály Kálmándy received in the Parliament before the Holy Crown. Opera has made it a tradition for the Kossuth Prize-winning artists to organize the anniversary operagals, and it is a special joy if, as in the present case, the singer reaches the top of the honor and the festive evening. Mihály Kálmándy came from the Hungarian community beyond the border, and for thirty years, he became a member of the Opera Company immediately with his main role. While many of the world 's opera stages have been successful in singing the real great, Sándor Swedish, the color and technique of singing Nicolae Herlea, she has always been able to count on her in Budapest as well. Mihály Kálmándy has chosen the program and colleagues to the audience of the Erkel Theater.
