Baroque fantasies - Schedule, Program & Tickets
Baroque fantasies
In 1605, the Spanish national poet Miguel de Cervantes created a figure in world literature that is still fascinating to this day with “Don Quijote”, the “Knight of the Sorrowful Figure”. Even in the Baroque period, the masterpiece inspired numerous arrangements by outstanding composers. In the current program of the Berlin Residence Concerts, Alexandra Rossmann and her ensemble are devoting themselves to this entertaining and imaginative repertoire for the first time. Spanish fire in the works of Luigi Boccherini meets the burlesque G.P. Telemann and the passion of Antonio Vivaldi. In interaction with the original historical costumes at the magnificent venue, the Berlin Residence Concerts will take you on a fantastic journey through baroque scenes.
