In Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Don Giovanni" we experience the breathless activities of the notorious seducer of the same name, whose amorous adventures shock the whole of Europe. But his nefarious actions soon lead to grim consequences when he seduces the daughter of a morally guarding Commendatore and then kills him in a duel.

While Don Giovanni, with his loyal companion Leporello, continues to pursue his desires without a care in the world, a web of vengeance and helplessness forms around him. In a series of fateful encounters and confused identities, he is finally confronted with his own moral decay; the Commendatore's ghost is always breathing down his neck. The story culminates in a dramatic finale in which Don Giovanni, with his ultimate indifference, faces the Commendatore in petrified form and thus faces death.
Through the stirring story of love, seduction and the battle between morality and freedom, “Don Giovanni” raises essential questions about the present and the future, while his downfall drags the world around him along with him.
