Meine Schwester und ich - Schedule, Program & Tickets
Meine Schwester und ich
Operetta by Ralph Benatzky
In German with English surtitles
Parallel to his great revue operettas, the versatile Ralph Benatzky dealt with the development of a "new" genre, the chamber operetta. So in March 1930, a few months before the spectacular “Weißen Rössl” and also in Berlin, the light-footed musical comedy “My Sister and I” was premiered. For the first time at the Volksoper, the delightful mix-up comedy about the young countess, who pretends to be her own sister, comes up with great typical Benatzky hits.
Directed by Robert Meyer
Set design and costumes Christof Cremer
Choreography Andrea Heil
Subject to changes.
