Vienna Hofburg Orchestra - New Year's Concert
Experience the traditional New Year's Eve concert of the Vienna Hofburg Orchestra and enjoy musical fireworks in the magnificent Herkules Hall of the Palais Liechtenstein.
Thrilling waltzes, overtures and polkas by the Strauss brothers and Franz von Suppé are on the program.
In addition, four renowned opera singers inspire with arias, duets and quartets by Franz Lehár, Johann Strauss Sohn and Emmerich Kálmán.

Traditionally stirring and romantic melodies by Josef and Johann Strauss, Franz Léhàr and Franz von Suppé are played.
This includes works like “Wiener Blut” or the polkas “Ohne Sorgen” and Eljen – Magyar”. But also arias from the "Fledermaus" and the "Csardasfürstin" as well as the waltzes "On the beautiful blue Danube" and "Spring Voices"
As Johann Strauss intended and in the tradition of all major Viennese orchestras, the musicians have prepared some musical jokes to delight the audience anew every evening!
