Vienna Residence Orchestra - Dinner & Concert
With the Vienna Classic Concerts, the Vienna Residence Orchestra (WRO) celebrates classical music in Vienna.
Mainly works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss are played. The two of them will also be joined in the diverse program by other well-known composers from the Viennese classical period as well as composers with a connection to Vienna. These include Antonio Vivaldi, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert and many more.
The Vienna Residence Orchestra's program provides over an hour of entertainment with many well-known works by the greats of classical music.
Here is a small excerpt from the program, which can change both seasonally and depending on the vocal soloist:
Antonio Vivaldi: a movement from the “Four Seasons” – depending on the season
W.A. Mozart: “A Little Night Music”, “Overture from “Le Nozze di Figaro”, “Papageno – Papagena” from “The Magic Flute”
Ludwig van Beethoven: “Romance in F Major”
Johann Strauss: “Vienna Blood”, “Danube Waltz”
Franz Lehár: “Ball sirens” from “The Merry Widow”
Joseph Haydn: “Serenade op.3”, No.5, Andante Cantabile
and many more…

The dinner takes place at 6:30 p.m. (concert 8:30 p.m.) or 8:30 p.m. (concert 6:30 p.m.) in the Levante restaurant.

Starter:
Clear beef broth with fries
or
Seasonal mixed salad
Main course:
Tafelspitz with chive sauce, rösti and apple horseradish
or
Viennese veal schnitzel with parsley potatoes
or
Vegetarian Güvec
Dessert:
Sachertorte with whipped cream
or
Homemade apple strudel
Included is 1/4 l Zweigelt or Grüner Veltliner or a 0.3 l beer or a 0.5 l soft drink!
