Please try again.« … »Chasing Waterfalls«, the title means something like »wanting to grasp the incomprehensible«, is a world premiere project by the artist collective phase7 performing.arts Berlin and the Semperoper Dresden. Together with the composer Angus Lee (*1992) from Hong Kong and the Studio for Sonic Experiences kling klang klong, the collective embarks on music-theatrical research into the effects that artificial intelligence has on our human, social and creative being. Incidentally, the ego succeeds in logging into its computer. And in the confrontation with its digital spin-offs in the depths of the virtual, it experiences surprises between Lewis Carroll's »Alice in Wonderland« and Stanley Kubrick's »2001: A Space Odyssey«. And at the end, like every good story, there is a black.
