"Love is a wild bird that no one can ever tame" - the famous story of Carmen and Don José, new and thrilling tells: Tscho Theissing has Bizet's opera classic from 1875 about an amour fou full of passion, jealousy, freedom and murder of mezzo-soprano Natalia Kawalek, tenor Juraj Hollý and actor Jürgen Maurer. His modern arrangements are voiced by the legendary "Flying Schnörtzenbrekkers". Carmen was premiered in Paris, but today is one of the most performed and popular operas ever. The beautiful aria "Habanera", to which Bizet also provided the text, is a mandatory part of this unusual opera evening in the name of love and cruelty.
