The concert of the Bolschoi Don Cossacks conducted by Prof. Petja Houdjakov on 23 December at the Vienna Konzerthaus has been one of the most popular Christmas concerts in Vienna for almost thirty years.
The choir offers an artistically high-quality, multimedia program with Russian sacred works, folk songs and international Christmas carols, which are complemented by fiery-lively deposits of dancers.
This year, the Bolshoi Don Cossacks are also coming up with some surprises - such as short performances by the "Slavic Tenors", the Monk Chorus Spassitel and Petja Houdjakov himself, the head of the Bolshoi Don Cossacks.
