He has been associated with this stage for an eternally long time. It started as a dumbfounded general in "Lysistrate" by Heinz R. Unger, in a hundred evenings as Leopold in the "Weisses Rössl", as a cruel dentist in "Little Shop of Horrors", dubious in "Go West Again", 70 times en suite as "Caveman". Annually for almost 20 years "Best of Strizzis" with Wolfgang Böck, early appearances with Georg Danzer, Marianne Mendt and many others.
With his band "SAMTORCHESTER de Luxe" he will now draw from his rich repertoire on the eve of his jubilee and celebrate his birthday with his audience.
Adi Hirschal rummages in his musical past before he has dedicated himself to the Wienerlied in the manner known to us. Drives around in the musical settings of the 60s, 70s & 80s up to the present day. Explains how his songs got into his cassette player in a garage a quarter of a century ago, what Tom Petty, Elvis Presley, Willy DeVille and Randy Newman meant to him, and why he had to translate them.
