Written around 1606, MACBETH combines historical events with supernatural elements, inner conflicts and a look into the human abyss. In-house director Rieke Süßkow, who is known for her strong-form productions, uses elements of figure and object theater to combine Shakespeare's dark work about the fragility of civilization's facades and the psychological deformation caused by power with the imagery and aesthetics of online gaming.
