In the life of an opera house, there are composers to whom one must always return – or perhaps never even leave. Such is Giacomo Puccini, to whom the OPERA dedicated an entire season in the past decade, and whose works it has since continuously kept in its repertoire – indeed, even presenting new productions. This time, audiences are invited to an evening composed of some of his most famous and most remarkable opera excerpts, along with the rousing performance of Schicchi 2.0.
