Sankt Falstaff - schedule, program & buy tickets

While the country descends into chaos and the terminally ill quasi-king Heinrich searches for a reasonably capable successor to lead his administration, John Falstaff, a regular at Frau Flott’s club, befriends the young, down-and-out Harri. A pair that couldn’t be more dissimilar. What do they want from each other? In any case, the poison of power is wreaking its destructive havoc.

Austrian author Ewald Palmetshofer leads Falstaff—the beloved outsider among Shakespeare’s characters—into the abyss of a dystopian world. Following *HAMLET*, Karin Henkel directs this exhilarating, humorous reimagining of *Henry IV* and, together with the author, wonders why times aren’t getting any better.
