Der irrende Planet - schedule, program & buy tickets

The Swiss writer Robert Walser, whose works have been translated into some 40 languages, is a poet of international stature. Yet his interest does not seem to lie in grand interpretations of the world, but rather in the seemingly small things on the margins of existence. It is there, on the margins, that his poetic strolls take place—strolls that Susan Sontag said “obsessively transform time into space.”

Anyone who walks with as much curiosity and humility as Walser explores nothing less than life itself. Following in Walser’s footsteps, we explore the delicate beauty of existence—but we are not spared the abyss.
