Spanische Hofreitschule - Schedule, Program & Tickets
Spanische Hofreitschule
The Spanish Riding School offers three different events: Training with music, demonstration and demonstration with moderation.
*****
The training offers you an insight into the training work of the riders with their Lipizzaners. You will see the training of the often still gray young stallions as well as the already trained school stallions - our "white stars" - in the imperial ambience of the baroque winter riding school, accompanied by classical Viennese music.
The gymnastic training of the horses includes relaxation exercises, the refinement and perfection of lessons, as well as the targeted strengthening of the muscles. The famous school jumps, which are presented as part of the demonstrations, are only sometimes seen during training in order to protect the animals. Each stallion is trained according to his individual level up to high school lessons.
Please note:
We unfortunately have no facilities to store your wardrobe or luggage.
Dogs cannot be taken into the Spanish Riding School.

PERFORMANCE
The demonstrations presented by the famous white Lipizzaner stallions and their riders in the baroque winter riding school built by Josef Emanuel Fischer von Erlach in 1729-1735 are among the most beautiful impressions for horse lovers and are a living example of European cultural preservation.
During these demonstrations, visitors can experience the spectacular perfection of the "High School of Classical Horsemanship", with pas de deux work in hand and on long reins, as well as the "Great School Quadrille", which is ridden with eight stallions. Lessons such as levade, courbette and capriole form the absolute highlight with the "Schools above the ground".
Duration: 80 minutes
