A JOURNEY THROUGH THE HISTORY OF TANGO

Tango has always been a melting pot of emotions, musical styles and very different life stories. Within just three minutes, a whole universe opens up in which happiness and unhappiness lie very close together, where nostalgia, pain, joy and love find their place and stories are told in which everyone can recognize themselves. Although the tango originates from Latin America, it belongs to all of us and the Corazón Abierto ("Open Heart") project was born from this spirit. In their first joint concert at the MusikTheater an der Wien in March 2026, Luciana Mancini, Eszter Vörös and Éva Gárdos dedicated themselves to the women in the history of tango; in their current project, they turn the focus inwards and explore the secrets of the heart.
