Since 2006, Herbert Föttinger has positioned the more than 100-year-old Kammerspiele as a contemporary city comedy venue, where mainly contemporary authors are performed who deal with socio-politically relevant topics with humor, irony and lightness. The Kammerspiele is the crowd-puller in Vienna's city center. The chic stage design aesthetic matches the pulsating life of the city. Audience favorites and stars from TV, cabaret and film can be experienced live in the intimate, 440-seat theater.
