About the Event
When members of the Vienna Philharmonic perform a New Year’s Eve concert at the Musikverein, this does not necessarily refer to the traditional preview of the famous New Year’s Concert. For years now, on December 30 and 31 in the Brahms Hall, under the direction of Philharmonic legend Rainer Küchl, the Vienna Ring Ensemble has been performing the most beautiful melodies of the Strauss dynasty to ring in the New Year. Once again, the repertoire features all the greats among the waltzes and other dances.
