Shahkar Bineshpajooh Konzert - Schedule, Program & Tickets

Born in Tehran, Iran, Shahkar discovered his love for poetry and music at the age of 15. He taught himself to play the guitar, piano and drums without ever having received formal lessons. He was the youngest student ever accepted into a doctoral program in Iran and completed his PhD in human geography (urban planning) with highest honors. During his university years, he began publishing music albums and poetry collections that achieved great success.

In 2012, Shahkar emigrated to the United States. There he was granted an Einstein visa, which is reserved for individuals of exceptional ability, in recognition of his many achievements as an artist and academic. With his unique, dissident view of Iranian culture, Shahkar has continued to create music and poetry in the US.

Together with his 200-piece orchestra, he has given sold-out concerts around the world. Shahkar has also collaborated with many renowned artists, including Andrea Bocelli.
