JODOKCELLO

The barefoot cellist from the Alps, who touches hearts all over the world, is also making one stop in Austria as part of his World Tour - on December 3, 2026 in the Wiener Stadthalle, Halle F!

Born on May 4, 1988 in the peaceful hills of the Emmental in Switzerland, Jodok Vuille not only grew up on an organic farm - he also grew up surrounded by rhythm, nature and silence. His passion for music was born in this simple tranquillity. He picked up his first cello at the age of six ... and never put it down again. Encouraged by his family and mentors who immediately recognized his innate musicality, Jodok completed formal training and received his bachelor's degree from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2011. Determined to further deepen his art, he then completed two master's programs and earned his coveted concert diploma. But long before he graduated, he did something that few classical musicians ever dared to do - he built his own cello by hand. This instrument, made in 2006/07, still resounds under his fingers today. Jodok toured Europe for many years - as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician and teacher. But a turning point came when he began to share his musical soul with the world via social media. Performing barefoot in breathtaking natural landscapes, he combined cinematic images with classical and modern cello covers, striking a deeper chord - emotion beyond all boundaries. Under the name "JODOKCELLO", his art exploded online. With over 13 million followers on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook, Jodok became one of Switzerland's best-known content creators - a global musician who brought the cello to Gen Z and far beyond. His path has led him to collaborations with big names such as Mercedes-Benz, Swatch Group and FC Barcelona, as well as virtual and physical performances with stars such as Alan Walker, IL VOLO, Lindsey Stirling, Teddy Swims, Il Divo, Plácido Domingo Jr. and many more. The Qatari royal family personally invited him to perform in Doha, and in 2024 he was honored with the World Influencer Award in Cannes. But Jodok is more than just a viral phenomenon. He is a visionary - a modern bard who brings classical music to the people, without filters or airs and graces. His music is streamed millions of times a day by fans all over the world, with every note carrying the message he lives by: "Music is not just sound. It is connection. It is presence. It is truth." And while he walks barefoot - sometimes over mountains, sometimes over world stages - he always carries the spirit of the Alps, the honesty of the earth and the soul of a cello that was never intended only for closed concert halls.
