Good Shepherds - schedule, program & buy tickets

Shepherds play an important role in the Christmas story: of all people, it is the “ordinary folk” who are the first to hear of Jesus’ birth.

The GUTE HIRTEN concerts are a tradition at the MuTh: In this year’s Christmas concert, the Boys’ Choir, Chorus Juventus, and the Schubert Academy, conducted by Jimmy Chiang, will present music by Haydn, Handel, and Britten, as well as a selection of the most beautiful Christmas carols—and the audience will get to join in, too. Anyone who’d like to is invited to sing along to “Joy to the World.” This turns a concert into a musical celebration.
