Gaat, set in the 13th century, six years after the Mongol invasion of Neyshabur, tells of the resistance and struggle of the people of Shiraz against the Mongol army attempting to conquer Takht-e Jamshid, destroy the Jaam-e Jam and displace the Persian language in Iran.

The concert performance, created by Sohrab Pournazeri and produced by Tahmores Pournazeri, with a new storyline - again focusing on resistance and the defense of Iran's cultural heritage and territorial integrity - was performed over 33 nights at Sa'adabad Palace in the summer and fall of 2024 and was attended by over 140,000 spectators. This project gave the world a cultural image of Iran's national treasures and served as a reminder of patriotism and self-reliance to the youth. Following its success in Iran, Gaat was also performed in 12 cities in the United States and Canada, attracting more than 50,000 spectators.
