The Great New Year's Eve Concert - Schedule, Program & Tickets

To round off the anniversary year, we board Strauss's pleasure train and travel around the world with the Waltz King. On our lively journey, which will take us as far as Boston and St. Petersburg, we will hear dance music by the Strauss family as well as works by five female composers who shaped musical life at the time. Well-known pieces such as the Kaiserwalzer and the Pizzicato Polka will be flanked by music by composers Augusta Holmès, Pauline Viardot-Garcia and Ethel Smyth.
