How does a diverse group of young people become an orchestra? How do you find your way into existing structures when making music? The Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic helps with this fascinating process and promotes the training of young orchestral talents. Under the direction of Hungarian conductor Martin Rajna, born in 1995 and head of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra from 2025, the stars of tomorrow will prove themselves this time, not least in Ludwig van Beethoven's exuberantly humorous Symphony No. 4, in which Beethoven, as a mature composer, once again pays a tongue-in-cheek tribute to his former teacher Joseph Haydn.
