When two exceptional musicians meet, magic happens: the celebrated violinist Veronika Eberle and José Gallardo, one of the most sought-after chamber music pianists, form a duo that performs in perfect harmony. For their festival concert, they have put together a program that is tailor-made for the Palais im Großen Garten. The popular duo works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Antonín Dvořák and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy are full of enchanting melodies and colorful musical language. Incidentally, it was the legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin who discovered and published Mendelssohn's F major Sonata in 1953. A real sensation that concludes this special matinee with esprit and weightless sounds in keeping with the motto "LIGHTNESS OF BEING".
