With José Fernández Torres, known as Tomatito, one of the most gifted guitarists of our time brings Spanish flair to the Kulturpalast. The five-time Grammy winner comes from a true flamenco dynasty. His father and grandfather were already well-known guitar virtuosos who achieved fame under the name EL Tomate. Tomatito - which means "little tomate" or "small tomato" in German - was encouraged at a young age by legends such as Paco de Lucía and Camarón de la Isla. The master of flamenco nuevo, who also mixes jazz, bossa nova and blues with traditional sounds, combines brilliant guitar sounds, passionate singing and dancing with his fellow musicians to create a fascinating artistic experience.
