It is the absolute highlight of the Dresden Music Festival's "Cellomania" 2026: The "Long Night of the Cello" brings together all of the festival's cellists in one evening! And the name of the concert says it all: With a diverse line-up ranging from solo and chamber music to orchestral concerts, the audience can expect a tour de force through the cello literature, in which the instrument will be presented in all its facets. Experienced world stars and up-and-coming young talents will once again enchant the Kulturpalast with their joy of playing, virtuosity and passion. For the first time, the musicians will be supported by an orchestra. The NFM Leopoldinum Orchestra will add a new tonal color to this unique musical event. Whether wild, romantic or exotic - there are no limits to the cello's ability to inspire without boundaries!
