Kian Soltani: »Cello Unlimited« - Schedule, Program & Tickets

Kian Soltani is one of the most innovative and creative artists on his instrument. His passion for films and their soundtracks has accompanied him since childhood. On the album "Cello Unlimited", which was awarded an "OPUS Klassik" in the "Innovative Listening Experience" category, the musician has dedicated himself to the great screen melodies and wants to "transport listeners into emotional and epic worlds". As if he were the leading and supporting actor, director and film crew in one person, Soltani has recorded every part himself - sometimes up to 40 voices! In the festival concert, cello colleagues provide the great orchestral sound. In addition to the famous melodies from well-known films, two of his own works inspired by cinema will also be performed. And where would these musical film fireworks fit better than in Dresden's cult film theater Schauburg, built in the Golden Twenties according to the plans of architect Martin Pietzsch?
