In the first part, the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra and its newly appointed conductor Omer Meir Wellber have a fantastic musical partner at their side in Till Brönner. With effortless virtuosity and casual elegance, the internationally acclaimed jazz musician combines jazz with mainstream, high culture with pop aesthetics to create his very own unmistakable sound. The program includes legendary classics by Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra, among others - a listening pleasure in a class of its own! In the second part, Franz Schubert's Third Symphony takes us on a journey back in time to the Romantic period.
