19.11.2021 - Sumi Jo at Musikverein - cancelled
We thank you for your understanding.
As of Friday 19th November 2021 the "2G plus" rule applies. This means in addition to your vaccination or recovery certificate you must present a valid negative PCR test to attend a performance. This test must not be more than 48 hours old and must be valid until the end of the performance. The date and time of the test is valid, not the result.
PCR Test possiblities in Vienna:
Exceptions regarding PCR testing:
Currently, one hears and reads again and again that, especially outside Vienna, PCR test results are delivered very late due to the high number of tests and the resulting overload of the laboratories. For these cases, the regulation provides an exception, so that you do not have to miss the presentation despite late results:
If you have submitted a PCR test in a timely manner and the result is delayed, proof of PCR test submission (e.g., mail, confirmation) as well as an antigen test, not older than 24 hours in combination with above documents is also considered admission. In this case, however, you are obliged to wear an FFP2 mask during the entire performance.
The State Opera Vienna cooperates with a laboratory for a reduced fee for a PCR test. Please find all informatio on the website of the Vienna State Opera.
