Mark Forster's third album »TAPE« is bursting with superlatives: Released in June 2016, it reached triple gold status and produced one hit single at a time. The first release "WE ARE BIG" was the official ZDF song of the European Football Championship and made platinum for more than 500,000 units sold before successor "CHÖRE" repeated the outstanding success. "SOWIESO" also announces gold and at the same time holds the record as the longest German-language airplay No.1 ever. Including gold for the debut album »KARTON« and double platinum for »BELLY AND HEAD«, a highly impressive collection of precious metals.

The editors of the lifestyle magazine GQ named the 33-year-old "Man of the Year 2017" at the beginning of November.

Coinciding with the broadcast of »The Voice of Germany«, a format from which Forster can no longer be imagined, which repeatedly causes a sensation with Bestquoten, in early 2018 he also took over the presentation of the award-winning TV music format »Sing mein Song - das Barter concert ", succeeding hosts such as Xavier Naidoo and The Boss Hoss. With his current single "LIKA A LION" (feat. Gentleman) he also rang in the summer of April 2018 musically. At the same time sold his intimate club tour Part 1 within a few days.

By the way, he is currently working diligently on the next stroke of genius after »TAPE«.
