The ballet evening KYLIÁN – Bridges of Time is dedicated to the work of Jiří Kylián, a renowned choreographer born in the Czech Republic who gained international fame. In the season 2019/2020 we offer a new element within the structure of the evening – a Czech premiere of Kylián’s choreography Gods and Dogs, one of Kylián’s newer productions. As part of the evening you will also see three other works of Jiří Kylián – Bella Figura, Petite Mort and Sechs Tänze.
„I am glad Jiří Kylián chose these particular works for Prague stage, they are very sensitive and undoubtedly belong to his best creations,” says Filip Barankiewicz, the artistic director of the Czech National Ballet.
The premiere of the production KYLIÁN – Bridges of Time took place on October 11, 2018, as part of the Czech Republic 100th anniversary celebrations.
This shape of the evening KYLIÁN – Bridges of Time will be performed by the Czech National Ballet from November 21, 2019.
