The Paris Opera

The Paris Opera is France's most important opera company, which has two operas: Garnier and Bastile.

The Opéra Bastille is the work of the Canadian-Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott. The theater was inaugurated on July 13, 1989.
Its architecture is characterized by transparent facades and the use of identical materials for the interior and the exterior. Its integrated scenery, costume and accessory workshops, as well as its numerous workspaces and rehearsal rooms, the Opera Bastille is a great modern theater.
