In 2016, Bartoli and the Monte Carlo Opera put together a new orchestra: Les Musiciens du Prince. The idea was to turn old music into early instruments. The latter toured Europe with Rossini's La Cenerentola, which Olyrix described as "irresistible". Today Bartoli will sing Baroque arias as only you can - full of musical fireworks, as the Guardian put it, but with 'breathtaking depth and nuance'. For Bartoli, the music is at the beginning.
